How does /fa/ feel about Express?
I love the shit personally, The fit on me is mother fucking fantastic.

There's one in my mall but I've never gone in.

Decent for simple things, but a lot of it is poorly proportion, overly loud "club" wear for young adults.

2gay4me

also their lion logo is kinda obnoxious to me

that being said, still some nice dressy / officewear stuff

Yeah I know what you mean.
I'm a scrawny piece of shit though and their button downs are the only ones I've tries that actually fit me.

Yeah the store is pretty fucking gay looking.
They have a lot of good shit without the obnoxious logo thankfully.

Went in once...never again

Brown people shop there exclusively. Its Holister/Abercrombie/American Eagle etc. for young adults.

best fits at the lowest price point
meh quality but not the worst
sale marketing tactics means you can generally get their stuff half off if you wait

>> No.6012138

I used to work there. Over all quality is dec for jeans and basics. I don't recommend buying anything full price, you can usually find coupons or just make a junk email for them to send shit to you. Fits in the 1MX/MK2 vary depending on where they were made within sizes (it's silly). They rarely have things I like anymore but that's mostly because my tastes have changed.

My personal experience with their officewear:

- Shirts are stiff printer paper material and aren't even worth the $30 they go on sale for every two weeks. Their "extra slim fit" style items still desperately need to be tailored, but they have a great solid pastel color range with no breast pockets or logos.

- Photographer pants are fucking great at $35 and I'm not shy about having a full work week's worth in various colors. Fit can be risky if you have a big ol butt, but the cottons are soft and the wool blends drape wonderfully.

- Photographer suit jackets fit perfectly on my frame (36 chest, 28 waist) with no tailoring. Sleeve length, shoulder placement, waist tapering all spot on right off the rack. Material is absolute tripe though, it should be illegal to sell this shit at their regular prices.

- Ties is wildly overpriced (seems to be a running theme), but some of the subtler patterns have great texture and sheen.

Only stout sweaty spics would ever be caught dead in their lion-adorned club/casual wear.

I think express is pretty shitty in quality. I'm in NYC and the only people I see wearing express logo'd stuff are latinos which is enough for me to stay away.

Even with that being said, I did have some express clothing. Such as polos and jeans, and as my first sentence said, yeah they're shitty. AE/Abercrombie level shit. Actually I think abercrombie might be higher quality than express.

look at me. i just learned express has a logo.
