I have this dilemma basically every day.

I'm going shopping, gym, or whatever. Basically where I don't plan to see anyone I know, but its in public.

I could wear some nice raws, a cool jacket, etc. Or I could just put on some sweats, sneakers, and a hoodie. I choose the latter 90% of the time, just because its so much more comfortable.

How do you normally dress in a situation like that?

yeah, pretty much this.

am I alone in thinking that button down shirts are the pinnacle of comfort, by the way? seriously, a nice, soft, quality-cotton button down is the best. just pull on some well worn jeans and you're golden. look decent (by /fa/ standards; like a rock star by real world standards if your shit fits and you're not fat) and be cozy.

the only thing that is sort of rough for me is shoes. my pairs of leather boots are the most comfortable things once I get them on, cos they've all conformed to my foot and all that nonsense, but fuck if I'm not sometimes too lazy to deal with tying my shoes when I'm just going to be driving to somewhere & immediately taking off my shoes & just end up wearing "pleb-tier" shoes like sanuks or flip flops in the summer
