Even from the movie, it's still a representation of Christ, of God, of faith, and in virtue and strength. It's a symbol.

Just how we can watch a movie of someone, be them totally made made up, and they achieve something, we would like to be, we can use that symbol to drive us to achieve the same outcome in real life.

We do not even know what is real, not really, only the things we perceive and witness individually. Did all these people of the past exist, and did they do x and x. Just because "historical records" exist? It really matters not, what matters is what we do with the information.

People will say oh look at this historical record of someone, and their life, it's all true. And when we come to the bible, for which many parts are essentially historical records, people say it can't be true, or that Jesus did not exist. Things witnessed by people of what he did, surely can't be true. How does one define historical record from historical fiction then? Impossible.

Only what we perceive in our own lives, and for many of us, that is God.
