Saw a Barbour style jacket in a thrift store today but passed it up because it was a poly cotton shell instead of waxed cotton. Otherwise it was a decent fit. Did I make a mistake?

I went to a store today to check this jacket... and it ain´t worth the 400 euros they are asking.
