Thoughts on the Sinn 903? Please discuss, citing specific examples.

Some background for those who don't know:
Helmut Sinn was a german fighter pilot between 1939-1945
He bought the patents, parts, and tooling related to the original Breitling Navitimer in 1979 when that company went bankrupt thanks to the quartz crisis
The company has continuously improved the old design with tons of cool shit like desiccant inside the movement to keep ambient moisture at bay and the extra crown to rotate the slide rule bezel to improve water resistance.

Breitling Professional Aerospace - yes it's quartz, no you shouldn't care since it's still a certified chronometer and has 4 digits of accuracy which no mechanical shitter can match. Oh and it's also Titanium, making it lighter and stronger than any steel watch.

There's just too much work, modern Omega is a complete mess... But overall
>discontinue every modern-looking monstrosities they've released recently
>go back to smaller, slimer, vintage inspired designs, re-release the classic Constellation as the flagship of the brand
>bring back the old logo, ditch the cringe red color
>tapered metal bracelets for the sports models
>no fauxtina bullshit
>stop the James Bond collaboration
>stop running after Rolex
>fire the entire marketing team
>go to national television and apologize for the Moonswatch, the shitty brand ambassadors, the terrible limited editions and every decision that has turned Omega into a joke of a brand
>stop pandering to the american market, turn into a more humble and classy heritage brand
>ditch the co-axial escapement meme
>leave Swatch, ditch ETA, work on a full in-house movement and be 100% transparent about the manufacturing process
>go to national television again and burn every Seamaster 300, Aqua Terra, Constellation
tl;dr : I bring back the Omega from the 60s.

I hate modern Omega because it has no respect whatsoever for its glorious past.
The Speedmaster has been turned into the cringiest watch ever thanks to their terrible marketing team. The Seamaster Heritage shares no design features with the original. The CK 859 is a disgusting modern/vintage hybrid with an inflated case...

1950s-1970s Omegas were possibly the best watches you could buy. Classic designs, super reliable movements, some nice innovations. Unironically better than Rolex on many accounts.
Then the quartz crisis hit them hard and they had to sell their ass to these fucking kikes from Swatch Group who keep sabotaging the brand's heritage (just like the did with Longines) and turning everything into a joke.

Omega retarded fanboys believe many people hate Omega because MUH ROLEX VS OMEGA bullshit. They have literally the mindset of manchildren who think this is some sort of Nintendo vs Sega consolewar or whatever. The fact is people hate Omega because it has been turned into a passive aggressive brand running after every trends, copying other brands shamelessly and being run by marketing faggots instead of actual watchmakers.
How can anyone feel proud to wear a brand run by a family of these subhuman kike rats is beyond me... Have some self-elsteem for fuck's sake.

If you are talking about the quartz go for it. See if you can find a store to try them on the 40mm wears a bit large and you might prefer the 35 if you want a look closer to the original. The automatic is overpriced and too thick

>> No.17174376

Invictas are future classics. First they'll go entirely out of fashion and many mechanical ones will get discarded as getting them repaired won't be economical but a few decades later they will be regarded as the most iconic watches of the first quarter of the 21st century. They'll be highly collectable, especially amongst a new generation of SEA watch collectors, with the most obscene and morbidly oversized limited edition models fetching exorbitant prices. Unironically the best long term investment pieces in the market.
