Tring Shoe Repairs > Bedo's Leatherworks > Trenton and Heath

Dan at Trings is by far the best because he's a genuinely nice guy, doesn't take himself seriously and does amazing repairs. He's definitely the most fun to watch. Steve at Bedo's is fine but he's kind of annoying to listen to him rant and his hands shake so bad it's distracting to watch him. Trenton and Heath do good work but they are absolutely void of any personality whatsoever, I usually watch their content on mute. They also are shills and do paid reviews which is tiresome, but I understand they are just trying to make a living.
Wyatt and Dad Cobbler Company is great and an up and coming channel that I hope continues to grow. They have no business having such high quality and well edited videos for how small their channel is.

i'm more worried about the cracking than the welt stitching. the welt stitching is ugly but not a deal breaker since the stitches are lock stitched so if one stitch breaks the others aren't gonna break too, and soles are glued then stitched for double security
the cracking just reeks of cheap leather and shitty finishing, and it's basically impossible to fix cracking outside of using leather filler and sanding it, which isn't worth it unless the shoe is really nice and the price justifies it

Looks like you do not use shoe trees.
Get some cheap cedar shoe trees from ebay or ali. Not the spring type.
Also clean the shoes and apply mink oil.
If the crack does not go away a cobbler can sand it down and restore color. Than moisturise and polish.
