I finally got a decent job, so I can pump some cash into my wardrobe. I already know what I like: white collared shirts and chinos. They look good in every occasion. Sometimes I sub the chinos for jeans, or sub the shirts for v-necks when it’s hot.

I just want to fill my closet with this white shirts, v-necks, chinos, and jeans. A signature look, so I don’t have to make decisions in the morning. My problem is: where do I buy REALLY good versions of this shit?

White shirts that are slim-fit, light, breathable, crisp, and comfortable, but not so thin you see my nips underneath. V-necks that are fitted, soft, and durable, in olive/navy colors. For chinos, I have a decent selection of Joe’s Jeans Slim Fit French Terry, and they’re great, but is there anything better?

tl;dr higher-end quality of mens’ staples, especially fitted white collar shirts. Feel free to discuss brands for other staples.

Either visit a taylor, who will measure you and fit the garment to your liking, plenty of options to choose different materials as well.
Alternatively go to propercloth.com, luxire.com or moderntailor.com and customize your shirt or pants there. Propercloth indicates fabric transculency so it should be easier to pick material for shirts there.
