>What the fuck happened
gook moot decided to meme a little for april fool's, but instead of it being funny like the reddit thing last year or creating esforce, it's stupid and the novelty wore off after 10 minutes.
/p/ is basically a dead board and /fa/ is like 10th-15th most popular i'd wager, so all it did was kill /p/ for the day

>> No.16326

>>16318
Shouldn't we just get rid of /p/ then?

>> No.16338

>>16326
Boards like /p/ /i/ and /po/ are slow as shit but still have a group of people who enjoy browsing. Besides why delete them, they serve their own purpose.

>> No.16340

>>16338
how about a /pipo/ board?

>> No.16343

>>16340
Go for it.

>> No.16344

Ching Chong moot is just lazy as fuck to think about a cool April's fool prank, so he just merged the most autistics people in 4chan together.

/p/ could be slow, but damn, /fa/ is as cancerous as /b/, and you should feel bad.

It's how people doxx you.

i think it'd be a good idea.
hiro was saying a few months ago how the site is too expensive and one of the solutions was to cut some boards. there are perfect candidates for this - did you remember we have a 3d animation board? also dead boards like /po/, /gd/, /p/. for the 6 people that use those boards, it would suck, but i'm sure there are better places to talk about these things anyway.

>> No.16359

>>16352
If boards were to really be merged, I'd say combine boards like /po/ into a general arts and crafts board, but that's probably already been discussed on /qa/.

>> No.16368

>>16352
Merging boards solve none of this since its the same amount of traffic/content just in one centralized place, /p/ /gd/ /p/ all still exist but now on one board that no one wanted. People on /qa/ bitched and moaned about it for months back when the site was "about to go under" and nothing came of it. In the end it just ends up being people deciding the fate of boards they don't go to since they don't want their board to be touched.

>> No.16372

>>16359
>that's probably already been discussed on /qa/.
you'd think that, but there ony are 3 types of threads on /qa/
>complaining about moderation
>complaining about "board culture" dying
>complaining about /pol/
actually good suggestions aren't talked about sorry

I'm honestly surprised that /qa/ is still a thing. I swore that was meant to be a temporary board.
