You won't really know if it'll be a great look or not until you try it. Like I said I wasn't sure about until I got affirmation from other people. That said if you have masculine facial features like a good jaw or brow line or facial hair then you can probably compensate for having a really high hairline.

You could also use something like faceapp to see what you'd look like with little to no hair and decide if it's a look for you.
