Why does everyone on reddit and youtube say you need to have white leather sneakers in your wardrobe?

I personally wear exclusively black and dark grey with some white accents. And I personally think that pic related looks better than the white.. would it be bad for me to get a black leather CP as opposed to the white leather or am I gonna regret it?

I don't know where you live but the California thrash metal bands like Megadeth and Metallica wore white sneakers with their jeans and leather/denim jacket.

Maybe if you are going for a black metal aesthetic, the black sneakers might work for just casual everyday look. But boots would probably be a good look too. Not sure which one would fit, I would look at inspiration from your favorite bands.

Black CP sneakers or white CP sneakers, it's your choice.
