Hey /fa/,
/out/doorsman just in need of some advice and guidance. I have very little idea when it comes to fashion.

I am after the name particular look, its kinda like 'Adventure wear' crossed with explorer sorta thing but with a very earthy colour palate and matches well with coffee coloured leather. Sorta like pic related.
But I have no idea of what brands or companies have this look or what the shoes or boots or jumpers are called.

I'm not really a fashion orientated person, but I think this look is something I can sorta call my own, it aligns well with my occupation (Park ranger) and generally being someone who loves the outdoors.

Would appreciate any any advice.
In turn I suppose I can give advice on travel and adventure regarding Australia for those interested.

Thanks in advance /fa/.

Come to think about it.
Tomb raider has a similar aesthetic too.
What is this called?

It looks like safari chic, but not quite.

Great look. It's a shame it would look fake as fuck on the vast majority of us. I mean I'm in decent shape and pretty outdoorsy but I still spend the majority of my waking hours at a desk in front of a computer.

To be clear, I'm not criticizing your fashion choices, I'm lamenting that I can't dress like this every day without looking like a tool.

I'd look more into workwear than more mainstream outdoorsy brands now as they are all very technical, Carhartt, Dickies, and Wrangler all spring to mind in addition to what >>15617557 mentioned

also shop around at thrift stores/charity shops, you'll absolutely find pieces that fit this look for very cheap

if you wanna spend money and add some flair to it, buy some secondhand visvim, kapital, engineered garments, junya watanabe, or similar brands – you can find secondhand examples that aren't too expensive (compared to retail lol) on grailed or yahoo japan auctions – all these brands are "fashion" brands that look like traditional crafts or workwear stuff but the brands are run by really autistic japanese/NYC dudes who are obsessed with garment construction, so the quality is up to par

you can also find vintage stone island/C.P. company items that fit into that look there; really high quality brand that's made in italy, but you can get them secondhand for less than the price of new ll bean/patagonia – newer stone island stuff is more for streetwear fuckboys though and is very overpriced for what you get

for technical outdoors clothing patagonia is a good option, arc'teryx veilance if you're in a higher tax bracket than I am

/fa/ approved outdoor shoes include:
> Military surplus boots from varulstrelka or however its spelled
> ROA Hiking boots
> Whatever the boot general is shilling

I also recommend la laboreur chore coats, really good quality/price ratio and you won't look like a redditor in full americana workwear, especially if you break them in

fjallraven is probably the only big outdoors brand that still has a "adventurer" look about it

What you want is the brand Kuhl. Best pants I've ever owned. Great for hiking and even flyfishing in the summer because they dry quickly. They fit really well too.

Wtf, now I see it everywhere.
I remembered how much I wanted this bomber Jacket the first time I seen it.

Unironically this, its practical and breathable as well.
FXD pants with cuffs are fucking comfy and goes with anything for most occasions.

Boots with buckles might work well too.
Ive seen one with John Vavartos, but cant remember its exact name. Its got 3 buckles on it, kinda has a steam-punky vibe.
