a closet of all uniqlo wouldn't even look good. gett basics like plain color tees and socks (maybe pants? never bought them from uniqlo because they look like shit quality & fit on the women's side) and thrift the rest. 75% of my closet is thrifted.

Sure getting some items is fine, but what I do to get nice clothes on a budget is I thrift, buy milsurp, and browse ebay/etsy. More rural areas usually have better priced items for thrifting, but it will be harder to find something fashionable in a smaller size(but paying $3 for a leather jacket is still fucking amazing). Milsurp is nice because a lot of fashion is based off of things the military has worn, and it's usually cheaper to just get the uniform pieces that look normal without insignia, or just pants. Ebay is great for vintage finds, but is a little more expensive than thrifting as prices vary greatly. Etsy is probably the most expensive since it's a lot of homemade items, or it's people who sell antiques for a living. I still buy new stuff from various brands, but that's just the cheap way.

I’m also wondering about this, does it even matter if I’m muscular anymore or can I wear anything and it will look decent? Where should I be spending my money elsewhere? Seems that tees and even some wool layers are decent enough to get from Uniqlo so I’ve heard?
I have a ton of paralysis since I need an entirely new wardrobe so I don’t know what to get but I am pretty athletic/muscular.

Can anyone tell me how slim the supima Ts are compared to dry pack? I have a pretty substantial taper so I want a very fitted shirt.

Sure their clothes are alright, most of their stuff is the best quality you'll get for what their cost unless you're thrifting. Still noticeably better quality than the mallcore shit the average poorfag normie rocks. I usually pick up a piece or two yearly from their Uniqlo U collection.

it might be hard to find niche /fa/ stuff by thrifting, but for plain basics, secondhand is by far the best use of money for brokebois. you are pretty likely to find uniqlo-tier stuff in thrift stores anyways
just do your best to inspect the items for damage/stains before you cop

I have a couple of black Uniqlo U t-shirts that I've been wearing the shit out of for like 2 years and look better now from wear than when i bought them.
Have a pair of the air-ism wtf they called jeans and they are very, very comfy but the fit makes me look like a art school student so I rarely wear them.
recently copped some engineered garments x uniqlo fleeces and they real fucking comfy.

TL;DR is Uniqlo does good basics and interesting collabs

the cut is meant to be baggy but I'd say it normal US sizing. I'm a Medium in Uniqlo U and a Medium in these but if you wanted a tighter fit you could (probably) size down.
