Still waiting for this to pop up second hand. Either that or for Suzuki to release something similar in a new season. I've been thinking more about this style and I believe that, while it's fairly niche, it's possible to flesh it out with high quality basics within a particular range of colors including purple, black, white silver and light blue. I think being fade-proof and good quality is important, meaning that premium materials such as wool and high quality polyester lend themselves well to this style.

I own pic related and, materials wise, it's probably the highest quality and the most comfortable outerwear I own. Ironic when it's made out of polyester, which I used to perceive as being cheap and uncomfortable.

I have ordered the one at the top of the thread. Really liked this one too though but it's design is a bit more strange since it doesn't zip all the way down. I understand why it was made this way but the newer version feels more refined as it should being the second version. It's a niche style but I think it's minimalistic enough to the point where it can be paired with most other things.

Yeah, the anoraks are fairly flexible. I started looking for the Y2K one I posted around the time the current season's offerings were announced, but I was a bit reluctant to get a full zip jacket; I was specifically after an anorak. If I can find one on sale (unlikely) or second hand for a good price I might give more consideration to the full zip models. I'm trying to get one that isn't just black with silver, purple etc splashed around, but rather something that has interesting colours as the primary colours of the item.
I really like pic related, and the variants of it, but they aren't really something I can wear as a guy.

If you're looking for second hand Chloma definitely look up Anton Shimokitazawa if you don't already know about them. It's this really small second hand shop that regularly has Chloma stuff on offering and they deliver worldwide if you contact them. It's still hard to find some of the stuff but you just have to be patient. Been wanting the hoodie in this pic for awhile now but it's hard to find. Also, same problem here, while Chloma is mostly all unisex some of their stuff aren't but are so good in my opinion. Like the really long wavy skirts are something I would definitely wear if I wasn't a guy

Yeah, I noticed that they're tight knit too. It's quite interesting because it seems to be fairly implicit. I spent a good 20 minutes talking to the guy that owns PARK Harajuku who is personal friends with Suzuki (Chloma's designer) and he was well familiar with other stores and people in this same vein.

I've been wanting to get a piece of Balmung for a while but haven't found anything that grabs me enough yet. 10k seems like a pretty good price, from memory their jackets seem to be about 21k+. I purchased a Hatra hoodie earlier that is ridiculously thick and soft, but I was disappointed to find that the arms are just a standard length - I prefer when they're long enough to cover part of my hands. It's not the sort of thing that can come back to mainstream because it requires dressing in too much of an eccentric way for the average westerner to be bothered with. While the Chloma style minimalism and things like >>15603885 >>15603889 are quite a bit different, they still come from or draw their origins to the same era and have a bit of a gate around them. Maybe the most you'll get is some vaguely rave-inspired styles on teenage thrift shoppers and stickers on cellphone cases. Either way, I don't think it was popular enough to begin with to have a full scale second wave.

I'd welcome a second wave of gyaru fashion though.

I don't think traditional jeans would fit in very well with this style at all, at least for a more cyber-y approach. You could look into things like Levi's Commuter in black or find some other technical material. I own the jeans in pic related - CDGH+ 17SS - which are 100% wool gabardine, so maybe these too.
