I was about to make a post saying I got this 400ml flacon of 4711 and I'm really enjoying wearing it. With regards to >>15563799 I'd say it's not something I'd really use to go to uni or work, but rather that's something light and fresh to use when doing groceries or going to the gym.

You smell fragrance when the molecules evaporate off your skin. The warmer your skin, the faster the evaporation. Chemicals need to reach a certain concentration before it is detected by the receptors in the nose. The warmer your skin, the more molecules are evaporated off of it and the concentration that gets to your nose is high enough for it to register and smell it. The higher the concentration, the more intense it feels.

in relation to perfume, it’s usually due to the chemical combinations creating/mimicking/evocating scents, so it’s no problem. we perceive and understand scents differently. if I’m just in a room and something smells off, I either ask around if people smell whatever it is that’s in the air, ignore it, or just pick my nose clean

Is it better to buy a modern bottle of Le Male or go for something like a Cuba Gold or some alternative? Sampled Le Male and I like it quite a bit.

>> No.15568328

>>15568320
though both have SOME similarities, it’s always better to buy what you fall in love with. otherwise whenever you wear a dupe you’d be thinking of the real thing and kick yourself. I use Cuba Gold to feel nice at home, while my “expensive” perfumes are for wearing out to town
