That's the original accutron. This new 60th anniversary watch is not a tuning fork. It uses an electrostatic motor to move the seconds hand smoothly but both it and the hour/minute hands are controlled by a quartz crystal.

Replicas typically use Miyota 9015 or seagull if they need to do custom stuff.

Miyota 9015 is really good.

Patek: -3 or + 2 sec. / 24h, but you can expect 1 s/d

Miyota 9015 can be taken to 1-2s/d if you regulate it and tweak it after watching it settle after using for a couple weeks

Externally, more or less fine. Gold plating has worn around the edges and there is a small chip in the crystal, nothing I can't live with.
Internally it needs some work. It still runs but it's start and stop. Seems to run better when held upright or when given a gentle shake.
Popping the case open I do see a bit of tarnish on the wheels, a few of the case screws are missing, and there's generally a little bit of lint or something that is in a gear tooth here and there.

So I'm pretty set on copping a flieger soon and I'm fairly sure about getting the Laco Aachen, but I'm not sure if I should go for the 39mm or 42mm version. I generally prefer smaller watches, the biggest I own right now coming in at 41mm. My wrist is 6.75" and fairly round rather than flat, and my build is medium, though a bit large for an Asian. The 42mm comes in at 50mm lug to lug compared to 46 for the 39mm.
