Another group of this time with similarly powerful aesthetics, but very different politics, was the Kibbo Kift from England. Known as the Kindred of the Kibbo Kift, they eventually dropped the "Kindred", I believe, as to avoid being confused in international discussions with the American Klu Klux Klan, since both abbreviated to KKK. I don't know if they are still active or relevant, but regardless, picrel is of their costumes during their early years back when they were still known primarily as the Kibo Kift. I think there's something to be said about those natural fabrics which have had long histories to develop and become cultural staples.
