The only issue I have with this is that the clothing is generally very workwearish and feels like a Redditor wearing a costume, also oliveclothing items are dirt cheap on Tabao. Good if you like the style but it’s either this workwear/hipster style or nothing else unfortunately.

Yes, the build quality from those others you listed is substandard ugly garbage that both doesn’t fit and falls apart within months. Uniqlo manages to reach the heady heights of “decent for its price range”. Any lower wear from Uniqlo is a good fit, coats/woolies fit well. It’s just the tshirts and shirts that are a disaster because Asians love them baggy as hell. The only other definitely UK low cost place I order from is Weekday because again it’s about the same kind of thing as Uniqlo. For shirts and T-shirts I go elsewhere for better fits.

I much prefer my better quality clothes but sometimes you don’t want to look like a massive freak who looks completely different to everyone around. That is where my cheap casual wardrobe comes in. Uniqlo, weekday, eBay 2nd hand, reeboks, Adidas. Sorted.

No, just a normal functioning adult that dresses depending on his surroundings. Average highstreets get my average casual look as described. Better destinations, better clothes.

Or do you like having a target painted on you when you roll into somewhere like Croydon highstreet in your fitted shirts and trousers with your £400 shoes? Learn some social decorum.

>> No.15501874

Not the guy you replied too but yeah I keep everything toned down slightly generally. I wear the brands you listed but I’ll often still wear nicer shoes and an oxford shirt or something but I’ll mix it with looser jeans/ corduroy/chino/sweatpants but it’s hard.

Never been to Croydon but I’m in Birmingham and it’s pretty shit, I still try to dress up every day but tone it down a lot. Just wearing a button up shirt that fits feels alien in the UK, it’s crazy, you either have to dress homeless or full sportswear.

>> No.15502125

>>15502077
The UK has been completely destroyed by capitalism desu. Convenience food replaced actual cooking. Fast fashion replaced dressing like an adult. Nobody has any kind of class or taste outside of London and even then most people are pretending. Even mid level wealth like boating communities in the south all dress in those stupid looking striped polo shirts and call it a day.

Why would I want to go to Croydon? You're right though, I definitely do tone my clothing down but the basic chinos and Oxford combo never needs to change in my experience. I've lived in York, Brighton, Marlow (my home town), Exeter, Paris and Fulham (where I live now) and I've never had an issue with my generally /tip/ style. I got called a posh twat in York but that was just par for the course and easy to laugh off. Even visiting my mate in rotbox Coventry I've been fine. Can't imagine why I'd ever have to wear tracksuit bottoms or Adidas.
