Be very gentle to your hair (when you shampoo, don't run your fingers through; lather in your hands and then put it on your hair and then rinse it out by letting water on it and putting pressure to get the water + soap out, and when you dry it, don't use a towel or heat (don't use hot water for washing either), just take locks of hair and squeeze the water out gently) and use salt water spray or just mix salt with water and bit a bit of that in your hair when it's half dried (as much salt as the water will dissolve, no more than a shot-glass-full).

Fix your "illness" first. I used to change products and try every shampoo possible on the market to find one that would't trigger my scalp flakes as much.

But then I realized that the answer actually lies in your body, and that you can easily fix it by eliminating foods that cause inflammation. Eating lots of carbs and wheat in general causes inflammation (and inhibits the absorption of certain key minerals/vitamins necessary for your scalp health).

I've been trying to find good photographs of what I want to take into a stylist. The best I've been able to find is pic related. This being said, the chlorine in it will cause a reaction if you drink too much of it. Now, perhaps tap water in Northern/North-Eastern Italy is actually mineral water that gets filtered by rocks or the soil. This would be good water to drink.

In NA, our tap water is chlorinated, ozonated, or both. It's just another variable to take into consideration, whether it impacts you or not.

Now, on fasting...

Just don't eat for 3-4 days. I personally don't drink either for that period, but you can take small sips. If you have access to good mineral water (with a lot of magnesium) you can sip that to keep electrolytes in check.

The reason you want to fast, is because it's the fastest way to know if your condition is caused by your diet. And truth be told, that one fast will turn way more lights on than any of my long and tedious posts will.

Here are my tips :
1-length, there’s nothing you can do about it if it’s short, only weight will tame your gravity defying hair
2-don’t wash them often, maybe once a month, the rest of the time, just wash them with conditioner (Head and shoulder coconut conditioner works well) and lukewarm water, dry them gently with a towel brushing them in the direction of their growth
3-beanies, when you come out of the shower, wear a beanie for about one hour, it’ll dry your hair down in place
4-really important, at the barber, STAY AWAY FROM SHEARS most barbers are retarded and used to cut white people hair, if you go in any asian country, you’ll see they don’t use thinning shears, because it might work for white people with thin flat hair, for us it’s just going to create that puffy look, with the shorter hair pushing out the longer ones and sprouting out like bad weed, it looks bad.
