You should dress at a middle point between the self image/subcultures you feel a part of and what you aspire to be. If your in good shape you can make most styles look good, but imo classic pieces with good trad materials (wool, cotton, linnen, not weird silk synthetic) that don't have super overt logos is the way to go.
