The 60s beard resurgence made people associate them with antisocial tendencies, drugs, and bad hygiene. They're slowly coming back, but there's something odd about beards and 1950s style haircuts coexisting.

Personally, I'd like a return to pre WWI hair and style norms but I doubt it will happen.
