The circular frames compliment my thin angular chin well, but the wide frames make my already-flat and wide nose look even bigger and more flatter. Glasses will inevitably highlight your nose and make it look even worse, so if you don't have a good nose then opt for contacts.

The problem with aviators, aside from looking like a pedo, is that they end up ridiculously thick around the edges even with a relatively mild prescription, at least if you're nearsighted. I made the mistake of getting prescription aviator sunglasses made once and they couldn't even fold flat because the lens stuck out past the hinge point. Newer/more expensive lens tech might help with that though.
