Why doesn't this brand get any love (at least in the U.S. from what I see)?

What's your opinion on this color scheme: is it old school, is it just new fad, is it too aggressive, is it neutral, what color's can you pair it with...

As for Bruce Lee, right the yellow/black mex66 are the closest you can get in color and design to what Bruce Lee wore in the game of death, but it was actually another shoe that hasn't be classified, maybe a hong kong rip off, however we know that Bruce Lee used to wear the Mexico 66 (white/blue/red) and its predecessor, the limber up

Do some color schemes also differ in the type of leather, I noticed some were shiny, some dull, some rough, some sleek, some had a natural leather pattern...?

Also, what's the best way to treat them before usage, I mean what kind of impregnation spray or sth different?

The classics are noticeably closer to the ground and flatter. I still wear them because it's easier to match the color, but in terms of comfort, the SDs are top tier.

>> No.15012263

thank you, I am wearing the Mexico 66 standard one, it's my sneaker no 1 and makes me question when will I ever wear the other sneakers I have. I love the design, the tradition and the close contact to the ground, but I am also very curious how the SD version will feel, I read it has fuzeGel in the midsole, not sure what this exactly is only heard a mix of ASICS gel (alpha or beta?) and foam. But they really noble, basically like a dress shoe in full black.

I'm not going for a Bruce Lee fit, I just meant the Bruce Lee looking shoes. Those shoes look better for that outfit though, that was a good choice. What I'm thinking of will be yellow, black, and blue. In my head it looks cool, I hope it looks cool IRL too.
