Men, ever see a fit that looked so good on a girl, you wished you were a girl so you could wear that fit?

I'm not the only one this has happened to, right? More and more lately, I'll be browsing for clothes online, only to wind up in the women's section, and I'll see all these nice fits and get envious of the fact that I don't have a woman's body to wear those fits.

And for me, it's starting to go a bit beyond just wanting to be them so I can wear their fits.

I start creating backstories for the models I see. Her for example, I imagine her in her mid-20s, living in the big city and trying to make it in the design field. She comes home every day exhausted with a ton of papers and stuff from work under her arms. She complains to her roommate, Audrey, who consoles her and gives her advice on how to deal with a backstabbing co-worker who ruined her day. On the weekends, she goes to the farmer's market and she goes to museums to draw inspiration for her design work.

I'm a 5'6" guy. I'll admit, there have been instances in the past where I was treated unfairly because of my height.

However, after I got both of my ears pierced and grew my curly hair out nice and long, a strange thing happened: people started treating me better because sometimes I look so androgynous, they can't tell if I'm a woman or a man.

Men do things like hold doors open for me or let me cross the street at stop signs even if they got to the crosswalk before I did. They let me board the bus/train first. If I'm in a shop having trouble with something, like opening one of those plastic bags to put vegetables in, they come to my aide. Generally, men have stopped being aggressive towards me; e.g. They no longer play "sidewalk chicken", where if we're heading towards each other in opposite directions, they refuse to get out of the. Now they get out of my way.

Women also started being nice to me. Women who are out of my league looks-wise and never talked to me in the past, now do. They'll compliment me on my hair and ask questions about my hair routine. Sometimes they'll also try to just make general small talk. They also offer me help. For example, my female co-workers will stand up for me if they think my supervisor or some other male co-worker is trying to take advantage of me. None of this ever happened in the past.

If you're a short guy, that's my advice for you; become little androgynous sexy beast, like the guy in those Dr. Pepper commercials.

Also, check out this unisex fit and try telling me it looks better on a man.
