No I only tried Avignon besides Zagorsk. Avignon really really gives me the whole old church with a graveyard image. Probably the most gothic frag out there, would recommend. I really want to try Kyoto since I heard a lot of good thing about it. Once I run trough some of my samples I will sample the rest of the line. I live just across the channel so same here, but I bought it for €120 for the 100 ml that was hardly used from a bankrupt niche store so I just couldn't help myself :^) Once the weather gets even slightly warm I'll wear it pretty much every day. The white florals are just oh so great

not him but i've tried Avignon, Kyoto and Zagorsk (plus Blue Encens from that separate series) and Avignon is definitely the sweetest of them. i ended up selling my bottle off because the vanilla note came through so strong for me that it felt sickly and cloying, although i get why other people like it so much. Zagorsk gets floral-sweet in the drydown, but the opening is all bitter pine needles and the smell of old buildings. Kyoto isn't really sweet at all and is more cool and woodsy

My Mother was left as a single parent traumatized by the event so I grew up in poverty in California, mainly in ghettos surrounded by crack heads and hard drugs. Most of my childhood friends are either homeless addicts or dead.

So indeed while I am not a top lawyer, I have moved away from that place, are in constant work, pay for my own place and do not take any form of drugs.

Very sad that Jeremy didn't prep enough for this...the fact that English is his second language doesn't help as well. He ended up rambling a bunch, but here are some good points.

1. Pricing is arbitrary at the end of the day. The cost per ml of juice for each fragrance is so inexpensive....that the price of each fragrance does not correlate with the actual value of the product.

2. His fragrances smelling like other fragrances. He makes a good point in how the music industry does it all the time. The only time it is an issue is when it is a blatant 1:1 copy/copying huge chunks of it. Perfumers are creative by building upon previous ideas.

Overall his main issue is his lack of empathy. He struggles to understand other people's point of view, which makes him less capable in adapting himself to argue against them effectively. Without being able to grasp what other people are thinking, it is harder to manipulate them. His lesser issue is he is too honest. He chooses to live life with the mantra that no matter what he does, some people will hate him, and some others will love him. This discourages him to try to see things in other perspectives besides his own to prepare good counters against them. He surprisingly lacks the self-awareness of how he is coming across and how his audience is perceiving him.

What he should've done to justify his high price is to blame the fact that he had to hire a master perfumer, no restrictions on price of ingredients for the perfumer, large focus on naturals, best mass appealing fragrance on the market. He can emphasize that his company is unique in focusing primarily on attracting ladies, which is something other companies don't focus on as much.

He couldn’t due what you say, though, because it’s obviously untrue. His fragrances don’t smell natural or high quality at all. Sure, the Pajeet coomers who make up his base don’t know the difference, but fragrance enthusiasts do. Saying he had to hire a master perfumer is true, but he didn’t pay out of pocket, he raised a couple million euros on Kickstarter.

At the end of the day, he’d have been better off just releasing unapologetic fuccboi bangers at 80.00-100.00 a bottle and leaving it at that and no one would’ve had an issue. The problem is, his ego won’t let him do that. He’s Jeremy Fragrance, the world’s number one fragrance influencer, he’s building the best fragrance brand in the world, therefore his fragrances have to be expensive luxury items even if objectively his fragrances are JPG-tier.

I feel like he should've gone that route. If his formula emphasized the naturals then he would have more to lean back on to explain the high pricing. Naturals don't mean shit at all. Fragrances don't need to cost more than double digit. But with naturals, at least he can convince some gullible consumers who have been brainwashed to think naturals are supposed to be expensive.

>he raised a couple million euros on Kickstarter.
LOL...if you don't have your facts straight don't be coming in here spouting in garbage. Just checked his kickstarter page and he raised €780,149. That is significantly different than a couple million euros...which implies he made anywhere from 2 - 5 million euros.

>The problem is, his ego won’t let him do that. He’s Jeremy Fragrance, the world’s number one fragrance influencer, he’s building the best fragrance brand in the world, therefore his fragrances have to be expensive luxury items even if objectively his fragrances are JPG-tier.
The saddest part is that based on reviews so far, they don't convince me that they're significantly better than current mainstream masculines. Creed and Parfums de Marly are overcharging. People are gullible enough to pay for the prices because they believe in what marketing is saying. The only reason anyone should pay their prices is only if they feel they cannot get a similar product at a lower price point, and that there is something special about the product to warrant paying that premium price. So far, it doesn't seem like Jeremy's products are that special. He's setting up the price so high mainly on banking on idiots who like to pay high prices for prestige. Because clearly these idiots comprise a significant chunk of the fragrance community. Jeremy's only sin is his poor understanding of human psychology and inability to market his product better.

>> No.15004033

I don't know but it's huge. The marketing costs way more than the actual product especially for Dior & Co. Jeremy definitely spends more on those ads you see with the two uggos than he does making the bottles.

>> No.15004035

>>15004021

Should be less than $10/bottle. Maybe around $2 - $5. Fragrance is extremely marked up, so don't be fooled to think that an expensive fragrance automatically makes it better.

1. smell it yourself to see if you like it
2. figure out who the skilled perfumer behind the scent is
3. figure out if there are other options that will give you what you're looking for at a less expensive price

Idiots who buy Creed and Parfums de Marly to buy their versions of mainstream fragrances is idiotic. People should be doing blind smell tests like people do with wine. It would be hilarious if so called niche snobs end up preferring the less expensive fragrances made by French trained perfumers over expensive niche made by Muhammad.

Lol nitwit, that's only the literal translation of it.

This is Tom Ford being contrived with his naming of fragrances again. Beau du Jour is a reference to the film Belle du Jour which is a film about this rich housewife becoming a hooker for fun.

The new version is completely different Most have said its pretty generic and completely forgoes the iris which made the line what it is.

Among the rest: I'd say the original EDT was most versatile. The Parfum is my personal favorite, its strong iris with leather. It's much more hefty/formal but that's how I like my frags. The intense gets a lot of love in the fragcomm but it wasn't for me, sweeter than the OG but really much heavier.

Wood For Him by DSquared2.

Got a small bottle of this from a conference I went to, I think it's like half an oz. It smells okay, but I have much better frags. When's the best time to wear this? It smells kinda light/fruity, so I've been wearing it to the office instead of my usual Y-YSL or Dylan Blue Versace.

Once summer comes is this gonna pop out more? Or should I just give the bottle to my dad or something?

The actual price is e88 for the 100ml, but they're probably trying to get rid of it fast since it's probably a slow seller, so they put the 50ml as slightly cheaper so you think the 88 is a fantastic deal and omg I need to get it!

It's a classic marketing move. If it's a popular frag like Aqua or Versace, then maybe it's two different sellers?
