y2k fashion when done right is pretty dope but it has to be done in the least obnxious way possible because it is a very obnoxious style. Baggy pants (jeans, cargo pants), baggy shirts (tight shirts especially for girls looks dope), shorter hair styles, beanies, hoodies, big bulky skater shoes, etc. lots of carryover from the previous decade but the deeper into the 2000s the worse it gets. Keep it simple. Dressing as if you're predicting the future will always be a fashion disaster.

Thrifting in tokyo is alot different then in the US. Don’t expect rows of cheap clothes just like you see at your local goodwill. Japanese are know exactly what an item is worth and you wil not find steals.Instead it will be rows and rows of extremely sought after designer pieces going for top dollar. Rare bandshirts usually go from 100 to 5000 dollars.

Thrifting in tokyo is a great experience if you’re looking for that one specific designer piece from 2005, or if you just want to buy the latest hypebeast release that was sold out in 10seconds.
