Questions that don't deserve their own thread.

Is there something wrong with my cuffs? I keep feeling like there is something wrong with them. Any tips or advice on how to properly cuff them?

looks like your legs (or atleast your ankles) are quite slim and those pants are very loose/relaxed. The thing you are noticing that looks off is the contrast between the width of the cuff compared to your actual ankle.

How can I pull off wearing trousers with black sneakers well? Something like this but sneaker, not sure which type of sneaker would be best desu.

Also, can it be done without buying cropped pants which totally show my ankle? I just like a normal break desu, like pic related but an inch or two longer.

Nothing is wrong with your cuffs. Looks mildly period correct with the Cortez. My suggestion, if you're going for a retro look, change the socks.

Thin, patterned dress socks clash hard with the retro-casual aesthetic. I don't recommend plain white, But a light to medium heather grey, thicker athletic would look much more appropriate and have the added benefit of thickening the appearance of your ankles.

Hey OP, you might want to taper your cuffs, you do this by folding the opening of the leg a little then cuffing them, I've tried to draw it for you. as with anything you'll have to experiment a little to see what fits for you and for particular garments, if you do it correctly the cuff should hold all day. good luck

What you did wrong:
1. Showing your skeleton ankles with wide pants and/or chunky sneakers. Some thicker knit socks might fix this
2. The color of your socks is awful, get some plain white ones. Those stripes do not go with the wash of those jeans
3. The cuffs are sloppy and bulky, which makes your ankles look even slimmer. Clean them up a bit or get your jeans hemmed.

Ok, so here's the deal. I want to order a custom pair of suede shoes from vans because I like the feel/ look of them. the problem is making sure I order the right size.

I own three pairs of vans right now, one pair of authentic and two chukka lows. The Authentic are are a size 9 and they fit really loose. to get them to fit well I have to double up on socks. The first pair of Chukka lows I got were 9 and I was worried they'd fit too loose, but they fit alright especially compared to my second pair of Chukka Lows that are a size 8.5 and fit really snugly. I was able to adjust the laces so that they fit more comfortably now and i know they're supposed to stretch out.

Now with all this being said, what size do you think I should order my custom era pros? should i got 8.5 or 9? Part of me thinks the reason the authentics fit so loose is because they're just canvas and have no padding to them but I'm not sure.

The acting of James Caan here is so bad, over the top, like those old movies. The writing is horrible and unrealistic. Is it popular simply because of the wardrobe and the soundtrack?

I mean the scene where he is trying to convince the woman to be his partner. The dialog is so lame. Or when he is shouting in the adoption agency. is he IQ 69 or what? he doesn't know how bureaucracy works?

I have a second round interview for an IT position coming up. I was encouraged to wear something "business casual" by the hiring manager, so I wore the following to the first interview:

>gray fleece to the office (it's cold where I am)
>white button-up
>patterned gray tie
>gray slacks
>black belt and shoes

I don't have a lot of formal wear, so it has been difficult to put together another outfit. I was thinking of wearing the following:

>gray fleece
>maroon button-up
>black tie
>black slacks
>black belt and shoes

Personally I am fine with this darker color combination but I'm worried it might give the wrong impression, especially a black tie. I have time to buy something else; do you think I should? Having seen their office I think gray, charcoal or black slacks would be a must, which lends itself to a black belt and shoes. But the button-up and tie are mysteries to me.

I consume a lot of /fit/ content on Youtube and I'm wondering if there's something similar for fashion? It's nice to be able to learn more about my hobby by having a video playing in the background while I'm eating or working. I get that fashion is a good deal more individualized than fitness because what works for one person may not work as well for another and there's an element of personal taste, but I do have an interest in learning more about the general principles. hey /fa/ I'm not a regular here but I've scoured the internet* and i can't find anything so I'm coming to you guys for help. If this doesn't belong here, I'm sorry. Back in 2012-2013 I lived in Okinawa, and on my base, one of the vendors sold t-shirts. One of the t-shirts was a picture of the playboy bunny wearing a steal pot helmet, smoking a cigarette, with the word RUDEBOY spelled out underneath the image. The shirt was red. That's about all I have to go on here. Anyway, I'd really like to find this shirt again but I haven't been able to, anybody know where I might be able to look? It's also entirely possible that due to the locale it was a classic Asian knockoff that didn't have to worry about US copyright laws, but I don't know. Thanks.
