"Japanese" laid back sort of fashion as a female. Thoughts?
Pic related somewhat. Maybe a bit more casual.

Looks autistic if you're not Japanese/Korean.

Google "Mori girl" I find that stuff cute. I also really like stuff from those outdoor lifestyle magazines like "Go Out".

Thanks, anon this is more like the stuff I'm looking for particularly pic related!
the other gypsy-hobbit looking shit looks a bit much, though. Apparently this is called "Mori" meaning "forest" because they're meant to look like forest wanderers or something?

Posting pics of the style I feel is too much for me below.

Yeah, I feel like fashion in Japan is always a bit more over the top. But those styles can be good for inspo even just in styling techniques or individual pieces. I just recommend those because they look pretty comfy

Japanese fashion tends to be very baggy (and oversized), a bit too baggy for my (European) standards but I just wear it but in tighter fitting articles.

It is a bit too baggy for me too, I wouldn't do something that overtly hides my frame; my only real goal is to achieve optimum comfort and STILL look socially acceptable.

>>14872588
Are you okay? Why are you being so hostile on an effay board? Do you need someone to talk to?

I think the real goal is for something loose, comfy with good layers. Feminine patterns, material, designs, the works.

Apologies for the separate posts.

>>14872266
I think it has something to do with majority of asians wearing glasses (it's true). And probably the whole idea in japan since I csnt speak for other countries, that wearing glasses can make you look smart and professional. Probably just mags trying to make it look more attainable? If that's the right word.

>>14872270
Post! I can go with a more androgynous look some days.

Patrician style goal. One of the best cozy looks imo is palazzo pants like pic related and a crop knit sweater. The OP pic looks comfortable but I dislike how her waist is lost in the silhouette. Tie-waist wide leg pants are a nice alternative that prevents the body frame from getting lost in the baggyness.

Def the most missed sight from japan. Everyone was so much better dressed. Here everything is shitty, loud, or obnoxious. Japan style was usually more subtle and reserved as opposed to some neon colored non matching bullshit that lokks like you hit up the salvation army with 10 bucks when youre really wearing the newest Virgil X Supreme bullshit
