Im 20 and in uni. I dress kinda grungy with oversized darker clothes. Dress code isnt an issue. I guess i just want more flattering clothing without being skintight to make me look more womanly since i have a massive baby face and still get called 16/17 all the time.

im sorry i cant help you there, i'm european. i do a mix of thrifting and online stores, and i dont know if they do the american market too. i use magasin and zalando mostly. i do browse retail in store, but i hardly ever buy anything. i just use those stores to try stuff on

yeah we're really lucky. its pretty easy to get 2nd hand clothes that are brought in from japan and poland and sweden and, like, all over. but as far as i know america has a better range of options for online thrifting? we dont have anything significant except amazon and etsy

Yea online thrifting is big here. Some people even have a career in it if they have a large following for their aesthetic. Biggest problem is is that sometimes the pieces dont fit the way they are suppose to or have a lot of wear and tear that didnt show in the photo so u end up wasting ur money (usually more expensive online too)
