honestly I understand some of the complaints about them, but overall they aren't as bad a s people say. My gook boots are holding up pretty well. I think a lot of it has to do with the popularity. They are overpriced but they can easily be found for 50-70$ new if you keep an eye out. I have no idea about the quality of MIE but for the regular 1460s just don't pay full sticker like a retard and you will be happy with them.

Not sure if you can see it but ir says Made in England on the sole. Back in the day I was into the punk and metal scene (they sorta overlaped in my area) and I worn them to lots of shows and events. They have a few scruffs here and there but they have held perfectly. I wan't gentle with these boots.

Here's the laces I wanted to put on the boots. Not sure if they make the yellow stitches brighter nowadays or if the stitching on my boots got darker with age but I'm having secong thoughts. Perhaps I should keep the original laces. They're a bit worn but still intact.

they all say yes, then an hour to days later mention chronic foot pains they may have. i tried a pair of and they were the stiffest most uncomfortable boot i'd ever tried. I'm convinced people do it strictly for meme points even though they're horrible
