Had a suit made last week very similar to this. Slightly darker shade of blue with faint sand-colored windowpane, double-vented with flap pockets and peak lapels. Can't wait to pick it up from the tailor's.
I'm thinking of pairing it with a solid pale blue shirt, brown grenadine tie, and brown double-monk strap shoes.

What's with the aversion to skinny ties? A tie exists to hide the placket so naturally it should be similar width right? Tucked skinny tie with tie clip is peak imo.

Slim ties can work for very slender guys under certain conditions, but it's all about proportions. Lapels of that width definitely call for at least a 2.75" tie. Another thing to consider is the visual "flow" of your suit. A buttoned jacket or waistcoat creates a strong "V" shape that should mirrored by the shirt collar and tie. When the tie is just a vertical line, it disrupts the harmony of the entire outfit.

Good fit. The 3pc (you never close the jacket here) really hides the pear shape. Tie is a bit to slim and the lowest vest button should be unbuttoned. Jacket length and vest could be a bit too short.

Cool. I actually made a similar 3pc but with a darker fabric. Basically only wear it with a grenadine green tie.

Looks good! I would've chosen a regular Kent collar or a Spear one. Would you opt for a wider tie? The lapel screams for one. Also, please don't button-up the jacket on a 3pc. Very nice share!

I don't like running around with the unbuttoned jacket. But to each their own I guess.

I will definately go for wider ties. This is my first MTM suit and I specifically asked for wider lapels. Unfortunately I'm quite tall (6'5'') so the tie also looks a lot slimmer since it's the wrong length.
I will probably order some bespoke ties eventually but currently there are more important matters to tend to in my closet.
