As for now, I browsed a lot of sites to find a heavy weight brown T-shirt and I noticed that very very few brands offer their T-shirts in the color brown...is there a technical reason for it like maybe brown color t-shirts being more costly produced, the demand being too low ?

Because its a colour for fall/winter and you usually wear something on top of tshirts in those months

I get you, but than I don't because yellow, red, green and black are frequent colors for t-shirts during spring and summer.

In spring/summer:
>yellow
Shinier or pale yellows, not the sort of yellow you see in leaves

>red
Bright red

>green
Brightier greens

>black
where do you see that in nature/fall apart from volcanic rocks, oil and the sky?

>> No.14667287

I see all kinds of yellow being worn during spring/summer ...everything from pale yellow to dark orange

same with red, all kind of reds

same with green

I didn't describe the colors of the environment in spring/summer but what colors people are wearing, black is very popular even not frequent in the environment.

The hypothesis is "people choose to wear colors accordingly with the colors displayed in the environment which itself changes through the time"

however this hypothesis alone is too narrow to explain what colors people actually wear.

it's an intuitive rule, but it can't be the only one all governing rule.

As for brown, I refuse to accept it is a color exclusively associated with fall.

Fall is more associated with color combinations, like the 4 leaf colors existing at the same time: green-yellow-red-brown. If brown was exclusively associated with autumn, then the other three would be as well, what isn't the case.
