This fucking website. I listed a coat not 4 days ago and this has been my experience so far:

>post listing
>immediately receive a barrage of offers for only a fraction of what I'm asking
>already the cheapest listing on the market by $200
>entertain each offer anyways because I'm desperate to sell this coat
>every single buyer is located in Asia
>shipping would be $40-$50 on top of the shit offer
>edit listing to politely ask people to factor shipping cost into their offers
>receive more lowball offers
>again, every buyer is located in Asia
>give up, edit listing to explicitly say I will not ship to Asia
>finally the offers stop and I don't get new messages every 10 minutes
>after an hour, get a new message
>"ship asia??"

This isn't even unique to this one listing, this is every single listing for pieces from well known designers. Grailed would improve drastically if they just banned users from Asia all together. It'd get rid of the shit offers and spam listings in one move.

Ebay's a pain in the ass at the start because you have a selling limit but once you increase it it's 10x better than selling on grailed. People actually make real offers and don't bother you with stupid fucking shit. i still have a grailed account but I don't even accept offers or questions anymore, I list everything they need to know and they still fucking ask questions answered in the listing.

Basically anyone who studies abroad from China is rich, because how else could they afford it? To be rich in China means you’re a bootlicking minion of that sloppy dictator they have. No other way to be rich. Because they have turned into culterless bug people, they have no concept of aesthetics, only money and brands. To be fat in China, you also have to be rich, because most can’t eat like that. Also rich spoiled kids don’t have to work or move much so they get fatter.

The net result is fat, rich, lazy bug people who waddle around Western universities in Geobaskets on their way to hand in their plagiarized work.

I'm required to take a bunch of studio classes in the arts school and each class is 90% Chinese students. Whenever we're assigned a new project the first step is to make a bunch of concept sketches and then share them with the class. All the Chinese students do is find something on Google images and say "I want to make this". The instructor then has to explain to them that they can't just steal someone else's work because it's plagiarism. Most of the time they end up doing it anyways or stealing something else off Google and miraculously the school's policy of expulsion for plagiarism doesn't apply to them.

I took a graphic design class during my sophomore year where a chink designed his entire portfolio using Off-White's style of quotation marks, those arrow box thingies and Helvetica text.

Not the same school then but it seems like intellectual property theft is a genetic compulsion for them. I also take design classes and during critiques my friends and I compete to see who can source all their stolen shit before the critique is over. and like you said, the rules on plagiarism and expulsion don’t apply to them. But I’m pretty sure my school is actually a Chinese government funded degree mill.

some dude from australia kept pestering me about an item i had up. then i got a notification that my shit had sold and sure enough, despite the fact i have it off in settings/he shouldnt have been able to purchase it, he was the buyer. except the address was some weird shady american address with a ton of reports/complaints of fraud on google. was such a headache getting it cancelled
