Anyone else regrets getting into fashion? Even though learning how to dress better has helped my self esteem alot and has opened new opportunities for me in life, both relationship and career wise, I regret it so much. Once you're in this there's no going back, you can't go back to dressing like a bum, and you become a materialistic shallow piece of shit.

Before I discovered /fa/ I used to buy all my clothes from Sears or Kohls. I wish I could to back.

Same, I enjoy dressing nicely (or what I think looks nice anyway) but most of the time I can't be bothered to have ideas and dress up, so I just dress like a normalfag and go on with my day

It's the only thing I don't regret.
Getting into 4chan/imageboards and videogames those things I regret

What do you mean? Everyone has to wear clothes every day. I don't think I spend more time dressing myself than the next person but my outfit generally looks nicer.
At best I browse eBay and some clothing sites for 2 hours per week. Which isn't a lot considering many people spend 10 hours a day doing jack shit

the next step for you is to start minimising ur wardrobe

work out a couple outfits u can rotate like a uniform and u know they gotta b comfy b

fashion doesnt have to b narcissistic when it has function and youre not spending your life savings

There is a difference between caring about your appearance and being materialistic. Fashion to me is about personal upkeep and being presentable to portray yourself as a functioning member of society; anything less is a slob and anything more is being gay for attention.
Spending $5 on a Spider-man graphic t-shirt from Kohl's may not be materialistic, but it is fucking sloppy and childish. Nobody said you have to be materialistic about it, you can just buy a few good pieces and rotate them with ease. The difference is in the type of clothes.
Of course you'll be spending more than you would be if you were buying graphic shirts from Kohl's, but it's time to wash your ass and look presentable so you're not a fucking eyesore. Copypasta this.

You were always a shallow piece of shit, don't blame your shortcomings on a hobby.

First of all
You can be casual, but still be put together

Second of all
The only the I don't like about being into fashion is that it's made me hungrier for a life I don't have.

I want so badly to be one of those do nothing early retired models who married rich, but I'm not.
