OP I hate to be negative or plant doubt in your mind, but I don't think the short bangs are a good idea. I got them a few years back and they just did not flatter my face like I thought they would. I think that cut with longer bangs would look a lot better, but I respect that it's your choice and it will still probably look okay at least.

Alrighty. Have you ever had bangs before? If you are scared it’s better to go for something like pic related than actual bangs. It will still hide a bit the forehead but will not be too terrible if it does not suit you. For the rest short hair is short hair there is not 100 different ways to cut them, chose the length and have it done.
Even if you end up regretting what you will be doing, hair grow back and it will be a lesson learned. Don’t be scared to be bold.

What is the texture of your hair? Seems rather straight but thick from the pic. With your current face frame, maybe settle for shoulder length for now until you reach your ugw and the face has slimmed down some more (congrats on your weight loss so far btw). Maybe don’t do a short side bang but keep on styling the hair on the side like in the pic. I always find it looks better than parting the hair in the middle.

I've lost over 100lbs and my face will probably stay somewhat soggy like this for at least a few years if not forever. I reached shoulder length which is why I cut it because I think it looks really bad on me.

Texture of hair is thin strands but many of them. Very smooth and soft and falls flat but not straight when not using products.
