When I began doing fashion, first came emo, then came hipsters, then came ricky, then came ROCKSTAR, then hypebeasts - now fashion seems to be far less eventful.

The trends of the future will be a Deconstructed take on 90s and 2000s boy and pop bands with a blend of Trans and Queer culture. Men and women will blend masculine and feminine clothing/makeup/accessories to provoke a response no matter if its of interest, sex appeal, or disgust. Of course the lgbt community will simultaneously bemoan and grudgingly accept the commercializing of drag and queer culture.
And no, this will be different from androgynous fashion but that of to intentionally trespass between gender norms. Think Prince but now in drag.
makeup and clothing industries will celebrate and forward this. it gives them access to new sections of the population.
