Im not a specialist, but you have a long and roundish face. So a short side and long top doesn't do you any good.

I would suggest you growing it for a while to even the sides and then try to stylish backwards or something.

Peak onions. Replace the glasses with rimless ones. You've got a nice enough face. Hitleryouth cut, so one does not mistake you for a girl. You can cut it yourself. 6mm on the sides (fixate your top hair using your gf's hair pins, those large ones) and buzz around. Then use a pair of fine scissors and cut your top hair at roughly a hand's width. This make for a simple side part. Bonus: At this length you will never have to shampoo again. :)

i remember you, glad you decided against going short. If you do bangs now while letting your hair grow and decide you dont like it you're in for a long wait to grow them back out later on, avoid it or put it off for a couple months. Figure out what kind of porosity you have since curly hair tends to be lower porosity so you need to condition longer probably leave it in for 10-30 minutes before rinsing out. You should be doing the curly girl method already or at some point in the future because it works fantastically for people with curly hair.

I can't recommend a good one. I'm a cheap ass and use not your mother's brand from target. They have a purple thickener spray and a blue sea salt spray. I'd recommend using these two types of product in tandem, a 1-4 ratio of thickener spray to sea salt spray works for me, as in mixing both in your hands before applying.

I would start researching these kinds of products though. We seem to share the same type of hair texture My hair is barely half as thick as yours beforehand, comparing to yours, and super thick after.

in my experience, when my hair minituraized around my hairline, those little thin hairs would grow in and then fall out easily. But your hair color might just be that color. I wouldn’t worry. Three things. First of all any advice for taming dry and frizzy hair? My sides aren't that bad but the top seems to be that way all the time. I use a argon oil shampoo and green tea conditioner. Shower in cool water. Wash hair every other day. Let it air dry instead of using a towel most days. Brush it most days with a boar bristle brush. And that's helped make it softer but it's still really dry and as a result idk floofy? Second of all any suggestions for hairstyle? When I was younger i grew it out to my shoulders which didn't really work. Had it longer for a little while like BBC Sherlock length and some people liked that. But mostly ive just been letting it grow out till it gets to four inches on the top and a bit much on the side and then cutting it again cause idk what to do for months now. I want a actual distinct hairstyle. And lastly what style of glasses would you guys reccomend for my face shape?

Slowly try lessening how much you shampoo in a week. You say that you shampoo it every other day. Try waiting 2 days before shampooing. Use plain water to work out excess grease in the shower every day you're not shampooing. You'll need to stay the course for a month or so to see how that affects your hair. If it still is greasy with this routine after a month, scale it back.

Second, check the labels of your shampoo and conditioner and look up the protein content. If you want model hair, you need to balance a ratio of protein adding and moisturizing in your hair. For protein at bargain basement prices I'd look up the OGX bonding plex line. You'll want to make notes daily on how thick your hair feels and looks (google the hair strand test). Also look into deep conditioning. WARNING : Don't use protein conditioner too much or you'll give yourself protein overload and possibly fuck up your hair for a few months. Personally I use it once a week.

See how healthy you can get your hair to be before picking out a style.

I don't have a super wide tooth comb but the comb I do own I picked cause the bristles are supposed to be wider apart(it's a Kent) but i use the brush because boar bristle brushes are supposed to be good at getting your scalps natural oils through your hair. It's supposed to be healthy from what I've heard. And yah I switched to a sulphate free shampoo in the last couple weeks and I don't have to deal with product cause I dont use it. My hair just generally stays how I put it.

Well, your hair is definitely going to be greasy for a while. No sugarcoating that. Once your hair is used to it, it won't need shampoo as much. Your hair is trained to the routine that all of its healthy oil is stripped away frequently (said oil protects and nourishes your hair), so it has to overproduce oil to compensate. So when scaling back your shampoo its going to be greasy as fuck in the short term, worth the journey though.

Most people find an ideal point in shampooing once or twice a week. I shampoo once a week and use sea salt spray, which absorbs excess grease. That's also a fun product to try.
