I just got a pair of Grade 2's and I love em,' although I'm not sure how often I'll use them since they are undeniably edgy. That being said, don't buy the grade 2's if you don't know how to repair boots. As they came, I had to buff out some deep scratches, repair a section of stitching which was a bit of an ordeal, replace the insoles and repair a gash in the tongue of one of them. It might sound like a lot, but since I already have the means and the ability to do this stuff it was like $10 in repairs, so still well below the price of grade 1's - not to mention the 1's aren't even in stock anymore and I'm probably not gonna get that much use out of them. I digress, good boots, worth $30 to me, would probably be worth $60 if I had more use for them.
