I find it's the opposite. Being an adidas fanboy I'm disappointed they don't have anything that can compare to nike tech lab stuff. The construction patterns are amazing, the pocket locations are unusual but intuitive, they just fit the body perfectly. Adidas doesn't have anything close, but they do have 3d printed sneakers

Some new Questars, some new Boosts, some Superstars, and that's about it. So the brand as a whole looks basic as fuck. But go online and you can find shoes for under $100 that NOBODY in your city is wearing. And they'll actually look cool. Not like different in a tryhard way (although there are some uglies in the mix)
