am routine

cerave gentle cleanser (very gentle, doesn't dry out my skin like soap but you shouldnt use soap in the first place on your face)
the ordinary's niacinamide + zinc serum (is proven to be anti aging when it comes to lines/wrinkles and also helps when you have oily skin and sebac fill on my nose)
the ordinary's natural moisturizing factors (best moisturizer i've ever used, sinks in quickly, feels light and makes your skin look and feel soft)
la roche posay's shaka fluide 50spf (best uv b and a protection, doesn't leave a white cast, lotion-like substance, very expensive outside of europe though)

pm routine

cerave gentle cleanser
the ordinary's retinol in squalane 1% (anti aging properties, i use it once every two days)
the ordinary's natural moisturizing factors
the ordinary's rosehip oil (also has anti aging properties, added hydration, locks in all products i've used)

I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

no
always put on the moisturizer first and let it sink into your skin, then the sunscreen
if you mix them together, the sunscreen will lose potency and won't protect your skin as well anymore

>brands like Deciem who fill their products with unnecessary shit

the ordinary is a deciem-owned brand it is literally known for not filling their products with unnecessary shit
if you want something like retinol, you can literally get it for under ten dollars whereas other brands will make you fork over 80 dollars for it
you literally only get retinol
same with vitamin c and niacinamide (vitamin b)
none of these ingredients are expensive
the difference is that with big brands, you pay for marketing and fancy packaging and all these other ingredients you don't want
with the ordinary you get exactly what you asked for, nothing more nothing less

Biore Japan have a lot of great sunscreens, get something with good UVA protection. I tend to use Ombrelle with 3% Meroxyl if I can't get the asian brands.

The thing with sunscreen is that you need to fully remove it. always use a miceliar/oil cleanser before your normal face cleanser, this will fully remove any waterproof sunscreen. It's usually intended for people wearing makeup but it makes all the difference on skin condition. I even use it on my arms if I have been wearing sunscreen on them, it's otherwise impossible to get rig of the sunscreen smell.

When I started using a chemical exfoliator and 2 different kind of serum+moisturiser day and night my skin got a lot less iritation from shaving and it felt thicker/more "plump".
Actually, I stopped using a aftershave balm and my beard area get the same thing the rest of my face get.

Get a clarifing toner and buffet+ the cerave in a tub

My skin was better too when I could still shave every other day but the hairs got thicker with years and now I have to shave every morning for work. Only on weekends do I allow the skin to rest but that's not enough, the pigmentation doesn't subside. I can't skip shaving either because my beard pattern is bad, there's barely any hair on cheeks, moustache and chin growth alone looks horrible. I've been applying vitamin C and arbutin for the past month but it doesn't seem like they are helping much. Added niacinamide to the routine as well the past week. If none of this proves to work I'm going the electrolysis route to ultimately remove the 'stache.
