The office of my senator just hired me as an intern on Capital Hill. They require a suit 5 days a week.

I dress pretty ivy/trad normally, but this will be my first suit.

Problem is, the looser, traditional cut clashes with my taste and slight frame. (I'm like a 38 long with an athletic waist). Classic, European suits are more my style. I love pic related.

I'm retarded, tho. Do tell me what to do.

My budget's around 1,000 or a little more.

because you are an intern, just go to joseph a banks or mens warehouse to get a suit for the "buy one get three free" or whatever the deal is now. its not trad but it is better than wearing one suit 5 days a week. save your money so that you can get nicer suits from jpress or brooksbrothers.

Buying shoes or pants is a bit mad from such distance. Shipping is a lot of money and then I have tariffs to pay once it arrives (21-24% of cost more or less). If I have to do a return because they dont fit to me, I have to pay all that again.
