How often do you get your hair cut and how much do you spend? I get my hair cut every 1.5-2 months and I spend $30 including tip each time (US). That seems like a lot of money. But if I don't get a haircut that often it starts to look like shit.

Once or twice a month.

trimming my sides makes my face looks angular (probably face shape genetics and jawline)

By trimming the sides do you mean the sideburns, or giving yourself an undercut?

im >>14207946 but yeah i gave myself an undercut. i think my top was around 3 inches at first and i kept giving myself a short undercut, which is pretty easy after you have the line set for you, until i stopped a few weeks back

Maybe once every 4-6 weeks if I'm trying to keep it clean, once every 4-6 months if I'm growing it out. Now I have a mullet, i get the top and sides done every month, leaving the back till it reaches my shoulders.

I feel like you should tip for the reason tipping was invented, an excellent job that you feel deserves more than what you paid for. Fuck tipping waiters, I only do it because I like the restaurant I go to and would like to keep going there, so I give the basic %15. I miss dining Europe, when my friend asked the waiter how much do they usually tip here he looked at him like he's a retard. Now that's dining service.

I bring a juice or a fruit to my barber when he cuts me in the morning, I used to bring croissants and pains au chocolat but he told me he's becoming fat since every one does the same.

>> No.14213229

get some clippers and learn to do it yourself. you can use the longest guard to start with if you're scared of how you might look. eventually you can start using scissors for the top and clipping the back and sides. it gets easier each time you cut your hair. i reccomend having a hand mirror/ multiple mirrors to see different angles while you cut. just go slowly and take your time. i just love not having bullshit small talk every month with someone who doesn't give a fuck. btw i bought mine for 15 squid and they're fine. make sure you oil your clippers every so often.

- wash hair
- use comb and scissors to cut the wet hair to a reasonable length
- rinse, then blow dry
- use clippers on the side
- for the sides you can take everything off with 12mm and then keep applying shorter and shorter lengths (down to 6mm) to the lower parts
- for the transition from the sides to the top I use something like 25-20mm and hold the clippers upside down (very important!) to make it look clean without taking too much off
