Meh imo they were in a while back but they're at the tail end of popularity. You want to be ahead, not behind or at the peak (for long) of the curve.

I don't think you'll see much people like the OP wearing them, you'll see some people who're really into the style still wear them maybe, and they'll stand out and even look good probably, but it's not in an exciting way which new trends, or sufficiently old ones will.
