Tomboy Neroli is a paradox: sexy and clean. It smells like a freshly-laundered cotton t-shirt stripped off a hot, young body that has been wearing a classic eau de cologne all day. Male or female? Doesn’t matter. When it’s this good, it’s for everyone.

It's 6 for the 1.5ml. Just try it. The sample sizes can really last a bit if you spray conservatively. 1 spray on your neck or inner arm can last you through the day depending on your level of activity. The nice thing about trying stuff out is we all have different chemistry so things smell different on everyone. Musc 25 is my go to along with The Noir, but my favorite is Rose 31; which occasionally makes me smell like a taco because of the cumin density.
Also any Le Labo will let you use their testers.

True story: I bought a bottle of Sycomore EdT in NYC a few years back. Then I went to NYC a year later and somehow lost the bottle. Chanel discontinued it and switched over to EdP, so the bottle is gone for good. There’s a EdT on eBay for $700 and I’m considering it.

To finally answer OPs question.
Tam Dao is my favorite. Its such such an exquisite and simple combo of cedar and sandlewood. It doesnt come off as a "cologne," it just blends nicely with your natural musk and presents itself from time to time all day long.
Growing up in the mountains, studying architecture, and often working with wood - it just fits me and comforts me.

I get the impression that Gaiac 10 would be similar in its woodly minimalism, which is why I want to try it so badly.

Thé Noir or Rose are great, they're both really light but have a surprising duskyness without being too floral or bright. Tonka is new ( so i'm unsure if you can get it) but is fantastic; it has notes of orange and cedar playing through a characteristic muskyness that reminds me of summer nights in Quebec. Vetiver is another favorite, peppery and grassy with hints of gaiac but maybe too sweet for my liking, but perhaps perfect for you.
Oud isnt for everyone but has a great feel to it that screams nature and the Moroccan bazaar, or gasoline; it's really a body chemistry thing there.
Ylang is really light and fresh a lot of buoyancy from the florals throughout the whole thing.
I could go on, but a big thing like I had mentioned before is body chemsitry plays a big part in how these scents, how all perfumes sit on peoples skin throughout the day so keep that in mind. Some scents that may scream intensity at first end up becoming soft and delicate an hour later i.e Musc 24
I'll hang around if you have any more questions about anything

Yes, the primary ingredient is agarwood. We label our scents and oils based on the ingredients, the numbers are indicators on the amount of ingredients per bottle, not just some clever nomenclature. I’ve never not got a compliment while wearing this and I’m not even exaggerating. I waited for a long time to buy it because I thought it would just smell like your clothes do after standing by a fire, and it obviously has that vibe slightly, but it’s the most pleasant form of that you can imagine. I’ve had strangers on the subway in NYC compliment this four separate times and that’s not an enviorenment where people ever talk to strangers. It’s the kind of reception I imagined Aventus would get based on all the hype but didn’t. It’s just a really unique scentthat people always seem to be caught off guard by. Sartorial by Penhaligons. It has that classic, timeless, sophisticated scent that will last all day. I love the fresh and slight metallic scent and is the perfect scent if you happen to be wearing a dress or collared shirt. Burning Barbershop by DS Durga is a close second.

Not what I was trying to say, my point was that /frag/ goes too deep up it's own ass, which is saying a lot considering /fa/ is already fairly detached from reality as it stands.

I stop smelling it almost instantly so I actually don't know personally, but with one spritz it's apparently overwhelming according to others the first twenty minutes, and once I come home again in the afternoon it can still be smelled so it's good others say. And on clothes it lasts so long, like wearing my jacket I occasionally catch it without having used it for a long time

Tom Ford: Tobacco Vanille

why, first of all, no bergamont. doesn't smell like something a 15 year old boy would wear. its mature, and warm. I find it addictive and arousing. most of all, I enjoy it, and it makes me happy, and thats what matters most of all. fragrance should be about you and how it makes you feel, not about how it makes others feel.

Girls do not love Aventus. I bought a bottle and sold it almost immediately. The opening pineapple is the best and the only part worth mentioning.

The rest of it smells like basic ass investment banker bullshit.

Hey...I have that! It really is great. It smells like my childhood. Spent a lot of my youth in at the barbershop. Be it for a fresh cut or just to chill and listen to a bunch of niggas shot the shit. Good times.

What's a good androgynous scent for women that's not necessarily masculine, but instead rathet earthy and maybe rainy?

Like I said, I’m not a fan of aventus at all. The price point, the dry down, it just doesn’t sit well with me.

I am not familiar at all with Arab fragrances and houses, however a quick google shows “Amjad” by Majid Muzaffar Iterji as having primarily Pineapple and grasse rose notes.

Earthy and rainy normally means moss/geosmin/petrichor and occasionally oud. Try searching for those words and add fragrance and see what you like.

It's heady, narcotic and syrupy without ever being cloying or offensive. I get a clear mental picture of a pretty Grecian garden full of daffodil and fruit and wine.
It's also a one-sprayer that lasts all day, and stays more-or-less the same throughout seasons and settings.

Also unashamedly enjoy that most women my age don't wear 90s powerhouse florientals, so it definitely stands out.

It was discontinued last year, so I've been stocking up. Have 250ml now, will probably get another 100ml at some point.

I find Tom Ford fragrances to be very cloying. A lot of the staying-power depends on skin chemistry and activity.

Also location. I use fragrance at the base of my neck and sometimes the back of my neck. I’m not a wrist person because I wash my hands often and know it won’t last and will also change.
