I pilot small planes, I'm not employed currently but my previous job was working with float planes in the Bahamas, giving tourists sightseeing trips, chartering rich folks around and whatnot, wore pic related while working and literal jimmy buffet core the rest of the time, not exactly effay but it was an enjoyable gig. I'm building flight time and looking for work in a new location now.

i dont speak it well but I get by. I'll put it this way, you're not japanese, you never will be, so don't even try. You're more or less a second class citizen in a lot of cases but people will still be kind to you, be your friend, and you can make a good life regardless.
>>13996396
Those types exist, but they don't last long for a couple reasons:
1) they don't actually like the job
2) they become disillusioned with the fantasy they've projected onto Japan (and it's women--lets be real)
3) The life they establish here is not what they want--they unironically want the anime life.

There are some of those types who come over and marry (low tier) girls for spouse visas so they don't have to leave and they fulfilled their perverse fantasies, but ask yourself this: do you really want to live in a place where you won't be accepted with a meh wife and little career prospects?

Teaching english is rarely a career for a lot of the people who come and do it, but it can be done.
