Some models are pretty good for comfycore, none with the thin N like pic related.
Go for more muted colors and/or limited editions/collabs. Buying any of the 4 or so generic colorways make you look like an actual boomer, a frat boy or a poor zoomer late to the chunky trend.

i've had 2 pairs of new balances in my adult life, both the comfiest pairs of shoes i've ever owned.

i had 993's in college and my skater friends always made fun of them but i unironically stunted on kids on campus. then later on in the work force i heard some guy talking about how no one should ever buy new balance because they donated to trump...needless to say i was in the market for some new sneakers and went with the new style (yeezy meshy style w/e its called) new balance and wore them to work just to fuck with them, but they turned out to be comfy a f.

No, they're not. Every brand seems to have its own clunky, white autism/dad shoe. Nike has the Air Monarch, which in my opinion is even uglier and more autismal than New Balance's. Someone just decided to jump on this brand for some reason. Pic related is my favorite, very comfortable and don't look like shit.
