Forgive my ignorance, but this is what I think of when I think greaser.
Slicked back hair, working class, lean, some muscle mass, good jawline/facial features, looks mean enough to stab you if you looked at his girl wrong.

Unless this is some new avant garde type greaser revival I'm not aware of, you guys just aren't capturing the greaser look.

Please explain if I'm wrong

The look im seeing here seems pretty flawlessly executed but i can understand how this kind of careless silly style wouldnt go over well for everyone. If it helps, try and imagine this whole outfit as the style equivalent of a huge smile with a big chipped tooth. Bright, sunny, doesnt take itself too seriously, with a little rough and tumble edge that gives the look character a charm. Like obviously obviously a reserved perfectly glistening smile would be "cooler" but it doesnt have the same charm.
