How does /fa/ cope with rain?

Me: I bought a North Face jacket with Goretex and it's been serving me well ever since. Not the most /fa/ solution but at least I can look like a drug dealer.

I live in portland, get some water resistant pants (outlier comes to mind), a solid jacket, and some boots and you'll be fine. An umbrella makes you look like rookie but if you don't mind condescending looks from portlanders (you shouldn't they're all faggots) then they work too.

Columbia Outdry Ex and most of my other jackets are waterproof too, including down puffas, ski jackets.

I don't own a car, i don't use public transport within city limits, i walk everywhere, not rarely 10 kms or more per day, so i like to be prepared.

Not really sure, I mean there's heaps of proper alternatives but I've worn quite a lot of 'waterproof' jackets which either make you sweat like a pig or stop being waterproof after 5 minutes. Goretex actually seems to work, so I like to stick to it.
