the last year i wore mainly this parka (im german btw).
since i wore it with sneakers and jeans and without nametag or ranks etc. and i died it to a more blackish version i was of the opinion that it would be clear for others that im not actually a soldier or larping etc. i wore it because i liked it.
but since then i got asked twice if i was a soldier (one time some group greeted me as a soldier another time some autist in my uni implied that it was stolen valor etc.)
so since some people thought i was actually a soldier (and there must have been more than these two which just didnt ask me) i wont wear it anymore.
and now i am searching another jacket just like that. it should be the same thickness, a parka, dark green, brown to blakish (doesnt need to be camo) and of good quality. do you know such jacket?

Just look for another armies jackets. M-65 being the most famous. But there are lots of jacket options if you open your preferred milsurp shop site. I think of buying Polizei parka myself.

If you wear that open with no other pieces of military clothing then you simply can’t be blamed for people mistaking you for military.

Brandit has some military inspired jackets that look good, you can also get other countries surplus, would recommend british smock in DPM camo

im not so spare in money i need 20 euros.

1) get a jacket from german ebay or german amazon (german ebay can be ordered from outside germany)
2) get one pack of dye (not two) and just dye it in a washing machine.

Get a alpha industries m-59 great parka plus its up to mil standards without looking too larp, so its good quality

You wont look like a punk at all if your hair and face is clean and also your pants and shoes are clean. It would be streetwear for sure, but i couldnt see a punk wearing paint splatter clothing.

There is fabric paint that won’t wash off, but i would hand wash or wash with towels if you do paint the jacket. Or you could use regular paint and leave it on the jacket for a few days, it should stay.

I dont think you need to wash that jacket much anyway, it wont easily trap smells or dirt. Just air it out. I have jackets like that i wash every few months and they’re fine. but i also dont sweat a lot.

If you’re wearing milsurp and want to avoid that, I’d avoid anything recent, especially if it’s from your own country. If it was made/issued after you were born or anything from the last forty years, your gonna get MUH STOELN VALHOR from somebody eventually.

My vote is for darkening it and/or paint splashes. You could also put a patch or two on it, something subdued but obviously not military. Be super careful to not pick some cringey shit if you go this route though.

You could try Tropentarn. It looks pretty casual in this color. I also think the parka is more soldier than a bdu. They are only $15.
