Neofolk in general is about appreciating and replicating the aesthetics of the pre-globalised world and acknowledging the struggle of those who try and do so. old boots were meant to be used with good socks or wraps. I think the russki military still uses wraps instead of socks (or at least they did until recently), it's easier to make the boot fit much better because you can vary the wrap somewhat. Haven't tried anything meself so take it with a grain of salt

It is a bad thread because from the very beginning some idiot made it about racemixing and the thread never really evolved past that. The white world is decadent and weak, most importantly it is ripe for dying because it does not love itself, and this is not solved by saying "don't racemix mkay 1488".
