You'll probably want a jacket with a higher collar if you're on a motorbike, I have a similar jacket, in black with a collar that comes up to my chin, looks classic and goes with most casual attire

Both look cheap and low quality as fuck, and the details make it look even cheaper.

Invest in a proper leather jacket if you want one.

As someone who spend around 50 000 NOK or 5996 USD on clothing online per year, I have to say I have become pretty good at it. Thanks for the compliment phaget.

Belstaff is overpriced and meme-tier.

If you want good quality leather jackets go for John Varvatos or Matchless.

What's the most generic, cheap but sturdy, uninteresting leather jacket to buy? I like wearing bland clothes, but also want to sport a leather jacket. Looking like a vagrant/unimportant labor-man is my motif.

Look at the John Varvatos USA line. Pricing is way different but the quality is about the same.

Schott, but I honestly think the design is bad.

Look at John Varvatos USA, they go for around 1k$.
They are quite unique actually, they are clean and minimalistic. Great fit, and detailed for keen eyes.

honestly Bestaff is decent out of the mainstream brands out there for riding.

Consider smaller brands
Aero, Vanson, Thedi leathers, Langlitz

props for Vanson
them and Lewis make some of the best but have largely been forgotten outside of places like Japan where the greaser culture is still huge

don't listen to these other anons, if you want quality the only thing you need to make sure of it that it's on a black mannequin doing a jojos pose.

Matchless is directed by Malenotti who used to direct Belstaff in their design. Go Matchless if you want to, but really if you're riding just get a serious riding jacket (i.e. Schott, Vanson, or Aero). Although leather has been supplanted by synthetics...so....
